MTC Preach My Gospel Training

What a wonderful week at the MTC!  Our teachers and trainers crammed in as much as they could possibly teach in five days, and we loved what we learned.  Preach My Gospel is a great manual and inspired program. We will definitely use what was taught to be better prepared as missionaries.  Glen found that things have really changed from the old "Brother Brown Flannel Board" days, but the changes were exciting.

We did not realize that we would be role-playing as either missionaries or investigators almost every day, and at first, it was a bit awkward.  (Probably like real life, right?)  But by the end of day two, it was starting to flow much easier.  We also had volunteers come to the MTC who role-played with the missionaries, so that kept most of us on our toes.  I guess we "passed," because this coming Monday we will begin the Seminary-Institute Training due to our assignment with Young Single Adults.

We will end our time at the MTC on Wednesday, and then fly to Denmark Thursday morning!
