The morning sessions were for members of the church, and the afternoon sessions included people from the community who have an interest in family history. There was a nice turn-out, so we were pleased as there had been much work go into this event.
We had been asked to make a display for the entryway, to greet and welcome participants, and to help as needed. Elder Parker was able to use many of his pictures from our own family history collections, plus used the laptop projected to a large screen TV to demonstrate some of the wonderful things available on Family Search, Puzilla, etc. People are always amazed at what can be done with pictures and Dad has a zillion! I heard one of the leaders say that next year Elder Parker should teach a class on pictures.
The Puzilla program and others like it are really fun to watch, and Dad actually helped one young woman find a family name in just a few minutes, a name she had been looking for without success.
It was wonderful to participate in this program while here in Denmark.

Today was the Primary program in the Aarhus Ward. We have a very small Primary, but the program was wonderful, and the children all participated. I don't usually take pictures in Sacrament Meeting, it probably is not appropriate, but I wanted to catch this small group of children together, as their spirits really touched me. Some of the children gave talks, one young girl played, "Jeg er Guds kaere barn" (I am a Child of God) on her violin accompanied by a young boy on the piano, and the primary songs were sung well. The primary songs always bring tears to my eyes as my girls will testify.

At the conclusion of the program, the children took a picture of his/her family and taped it to the poster of the temple in front of the pulpit. We took pictures of these after the meeting to help us remember the various families.
