Moving Forward

Last weekend was Stake Conference for the Aarhus Zion Stav, and we had a reorganization of the Stake Presidency.  Two members of the new presidency were called from our Aarhus Ward:  Steen Kreiberg (President) and Kristian Rave-Petersen (Second Counselor).  The first counselor, President Jensen, I believe, is from another city.  Two visiting General Authorities, Elder Hans T. Boom and Elder Adonay S. Obando came to Aarhus to reorganize the stake, so we were able to hear them speak a couple of times.  Neither of them speak Danish, which was a "plus" for Elder Parker and I as their talks were given in English and translated to Danish, so we could understand over 50% of the meetings!  That was wonderful for us.

Not a great pix, but the best I have - getting ready for Stake Conference Sept. 21, 2014 Aarhus.  Can you pick out the two General Authorities?  Three empty chairs for the new presidency...  The youth choir sang a wonderful song, "Come Unto Christ," in Danish of course!
