Last weekend we also made a quick trip to Copenhagen to trade our mission vehicle. This was like Christmas for Elder Parker! We went over on the ferry and then drove home the same day. We went early enough in the morning that we could take care of some mission business, pick up a few supplies at the Distribution Center in Copenhagen for our small SUV room, then attend another temple session.
Before driving home, we were able to go down to the docks to see the statue of "Kristina," by artist Dennis Smith, of Utah who created the sculpture in memory of the many Danish immigrants who left their home country to be with the Saints in America. He also did a sculpture of "The Mormon Immigrant Family."
