This visit was to a part of the Atlantic Wall
in Frederikshavn, Denmark. This is part
of the military defensive wall Hitler put up around Europe to keep the Allies
from liberating Europe and defeating the Nazis.
We visited with a Dane at this site who said he was six years old when
the Nazis marched into his hometown in Denmark.
It was a fearful time, but the Danish people rallied behind their king
to defend the Jews and most Jews in Denmark were saved unlike much of the rest
of Europe. Even the king helped finance
the transport of Danish Jews to safety in unoccupied Sweden.
Because of the stand of the king, Danish
Jews were not forced to wear the Star of David. A 1942 British report claimed the king
threatened to don the star if this was forced upon Danish Jews. Good people must rally together today as well
to defeat the evil plans of Satan.
