Stake Young Adult and Institute Training in Gothenburg, Sweden

On February 28th we had a special Stake Young Adult and Institute training meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden.  We were excited to be able to coordinate schedules of our Nordic SUV programs and activities.  There were about 60 people attending including Institute directors, SUV youth leaders, and senior missionary couples working with SUV from most of the Nordic counties.  We received many good ideas of how others are reaching out to serve the SUV in their areas.  We were also updated on the vision that the Area Presidency has for this part of Europe, and the part SUV plays in moving this wonderful work forward.

We passed hundreds of small islands near the coast of Sweden.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of our family and friends.  This is special time to live on earth.  Our opportunities are great and challenging.

"It is a great blessing to have an inner peace, to have an assurance, to have a spirit of serenity and inward calm during times of strife and struggle, during times of sorrow and reverses. It is soul-satisfying to know that God is at the helm, that He is mindful of His children, and that we can with full confidence place our trust in Him."

I know that as we place our trust in Him that He works miracles in our lives and the lives of those we love.  Most of these miracles we will never see.
