On November 15 we had the opportunity to drive across the Øresundsbron (bridge between Copenhagen and Sweden) to visit Kristianstad, Sweden where the Malmo Sweden Stake was holding a priesthood leadership training for bishops and other young men's leaders. The topic was youth leadership and Duty to God program. Elder Parker was asked to be the visiting speaker to lead the training due to his past professional work at Brigham Young University. President O' Bryant gave us permission to go, and the Fall weather in both Denmark and Sweden cooperated to make a really fun day!
Some of you will recognize the group training activities, as many of them were used while Glen was teaching at BYU. The rope trick was a hit and the participants went away with a set of ropes in their pockets, knowing the "secrets" and how to use it in training. It was really fun! At one point the lessons were translated from English to Swedish to Spanish to accommodate the different priesthood leaders.

This day was also my birthday, and we celebrated by buying milkshakes when we got back in Denmark.
We have only had "true" milkshakes twice since leaving the USA. (McDonalds whipped fluff does not count.) Thank you, Elder Thorne, for showing us where to "take a wrong turn" and find ice cream while living in Copenhagen... We do have good ice cream nearby, but milkshakes are only found a few places.
