We have loved serving on the Jylland Peninsula of Denmark. We have served here almost one year, and have really loved the beautiful and varied landscapes of this part of the country. We have especially enjoyed coordinating a few outings with other senior missionaries, some serving in very small branches of the church having only a dozen members. It is important to get together to feel connected with the rest of the mission, and to support one another in our various callings. Some of us work with the young single adults, some as member leadership support, and some as records preservation missionaries for Family Search. Some have young missionaries in their areas, and some do not.

Elder Parker and I have also had several opportunities to visit Copenhagen. On one of our temple trips, we were able to include a boat tour of the canals and harbor.

One time between home teaching visits out of town, we stopped at Skanderborg Lake for a quick rest. It was peaceful and lovely.
We can always find fun new sites on our early morning walks right here in Aarhus!
This quaint little street is just a few blocks from where we live, and right off of the main shopping street downtown. We only discovered it a month ago.
