Randi andJørn Bendtsen

Randi and Jørn Bendtsen are wonderful, stalwart people who have given much service to the Aarhus Ward for many, many years.  Brother Bendtsen was the first person we met here when we arrived to check out the church building. We immediately loved him and knew he would be a great one to help us "learn the ropes" here in Aarhus.  He is also the Aarhus Stake Financial Clerk so is trying to keep us out of trouble when we spend money for our SUV programs.

Randi is also very wonderful and has gone out of her way many times to make Sister Parker especially feel welcomed.  They have a daughter, son-in-law, and five grandchildren in the ward, the Rikke and Palle Rosenkilde Family, whose daughter, Laura, was our first SUV member to go on a mission.  Laura is serving in London.

We had a lovely Christmas dinner of roasted duck with Randi and Jørn at a small restaurant near their home, and then went back to their home for dessert.  Jørn made all the hearts that are hanging around their home over a period of 40 years. Only a small portion show in this picture. The Danish people love to use hearts in their decorating for Christmas.
